"ABAD" beneficiary: Nigar Alanurlu | Region: Khachmaz | Pebble Art
Nigar Alanurlu, an ABAD-supported artisan from Khachmaz district, was born into a family renowned for its artistic inclinations. From childhood, she was passionate about crafting, initially working with beads and later exploring origami. Today, she is captivated by the art of “pebble art,” creating unique compositions from small river stones.
She shares: “I’ve always been enthusiastic about handicrafts. I started with beads, then moved to origami, and now I’m passionate about pebble art.”
Despite her family’s artistic talents, Nigar is the only one who transformed this hobby into a business through ABAD. She explains:
“Pebble art allows me to depict human emotions and moods in a unique way. My works are loved by both locals and foreign tourists, which inspires me to seek new ideas.”
