
Annual report of ABAD public legal entity for 2019
ABAD public legal entity continued its activities with success in 2019. Within the year mentioned above, the number of ABAD beneficiaries has increased by 105, reaching 421 in total.
The upgrowth in the number of centres also observed in the actual year. Thus, four new ABAD stalls set up at "Bravo" hypermarkets located in the Ganjlik Mall, in the vicinity of 20 Yanvar (20 January) m/s, Babek Avenue and Ahmadli settlement which leads to a sum of 5. The number of ethno-boutiques also increased to 9, and a new shopping centre is already operating in the Masally ASAN Life complex. Another ABAD Food Hall launched within the ASAN Hayat Complex in Shamakhi raion.
Besides, the employee of ABAD public legal entity and ABAD beneficiaries participated in the numerous local and international exhibitions and had study trips to Japan, Malaysia, China, Croatia, and Turkey. The International Ceramics Symposium titled "From Nature to History" was one of the events that etched in memories. The first international ceramics symposium took place at Sheki "ABAD" Ceramics and Applied Art Center. Within two weeks of period, ceramist participants of different nations from 15 countries, including Azerbaijan, created sculptures under the open sky at the centre.
One of the most heartwarming achievements is that the range of food products released under the ABAD brand multiplied. A newly released cheese and sausage, compote, fruit juices and other beverages, tomato pickle, eggplant spread, pumpkin seed, black cumin, coconut, almond oils, butter, dried fruit, flour, tea, garlic powder, different kinds of dumplings, such as pelmeni, vareniki dushbara, and hazelnut spread are already available at "Bravo" hypermarkets chain.
A Memorandum of Understanding signed between ABAD and Sheki Regional Scientific Center of "ANAS" (Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences) on the cooperative activities that may be jointly implemented. The Protocol of Intent signed between ABAD public legal entity and the executive power of the Turkestan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2019.
For its contribution to the development of the small and medium entrepreneurship, ABAD public legal entity rewarded the "Success 2018" award which is considered to be the most prestigious business award of the country.
