ABAD public legal entity has joined the project titled "Promotion of eco-entrepreneurship among Azerbaijani youth."

The project is implemented by the IDEA Public Union, the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Employment Agency. The project is aimed at creating beekeeping farms for young people and young families.

The purpose of the promotion is to increase the pasturelands for ​​bees, which are the protectors of biodiversity in our country, to promote the spread of beekeeping in the regions of Azerbaijan as a type of eco-entrepreneurship, to support natural honey production, to contribute to improving the welfare of low-income families and youth employment.

Within the framework of the project, 20 young people with a special interest in beekeeping were involved in two-week theoretical and practical training on the establishment and proper development of beekeeping. It is planned to fully equip the young people participating in the training with the necessary resources and equipment for beekeeping, to create the necessary conditions for the effective implementation of the production process. 

For young eco-entrepreneurs to be able to increase the number of hives through natural growth over two years, farms will be regularly monitored by specialists and given the necessary advice. When it reaches the stage of competitive honey production in a market economy, it is planned to help new beekeepers gain access to a wide customer base and effectively organize sales by exhibiting their products at ABAD stands.
