.ABAD” (Simplified Support to Family Businesses) public legal entity run by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established following the Presidential Decree dated 23 September 2016.

During the past period, ABAD has launched its 6 regional centres, 10 Ethno-boutiques, two ceramics and applied arts centres, 24 ABAD in-stores and stands, 22 production containers, two ABAD Factories and two ABAD schools.

ABAD started to function as a pilot project in the Masally region with 7 families and has so far supported 487 families, currently cooperating with 420 of them (334 artisans, 79 food, 5 other and 1 hygiene product). As a result of commercial activities with ABAD members, thousands of their handicrafts, agricultural and other products were sold.

Over the past period, ABAD has become an alternative tool for the implementation of corporate social initiatives for large companies and donor organizations. Due to the grants received, ABAD sold the products of ABAD members worth 5.3 million manat.

Soon, with the support of PASHA Holding, it is planned to launch the Guba ABAD Factory for the Production of Packaging tools, as well as increase the number of support lines and ABAD employees.
