The “Young Beekeeper” project, implemented upon the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, will be held in Yevlakh.

The “Young Beekeeper” project, aimed at promoting employment among young families and fostering eco-entrepreneurship, will be implemented in Yevlakh.

Initiated in 2021 by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, the project has been successfully carried out across various regions of the country. This year, the ABAD Public Legal Entity will once again participate as a project partner.

As part of the initiative, 20 young families will first undergo both theoretical and practical training. Upon successful completion, participants will be provided with bee colonies and hives, beekeeping suits, honey extraction equipment, and other essential tools required for apiculture.

In addition, favorable conditions will be established to ensure the efficient organization of the production process. Participants will also receive methodological and professional support in product certification, branding, design, and the development of effective marketing and sales strategies.

Since its inception in 2021, the “Young Beekeeper” project—implemented under the leadership of the IDEA Public Union in partnership with the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Employment Agency, and the ABAD Public Legal Entity—has supported more than 80 young families in establishing beekeeping enterprises across different regions of the country.

The project primarily aims to expand the geographical distribution of bees as key agents of biodiversity conservation, promote beekeeping as a form of eco-entrepreneurship in the regions, support environmentally sustainable agricultural practices, and increase the production of high-quality natural honey. Furthermore, it seeks to enhance the social welfare of young families and ensure their sustainable employment.

Young individuals aged 18–35 residing in Yevlakh who wish to participate in the project may submit their applications by May 5 via the IDEA Public Union’s “1113” hotline or by email at info@ideacampaign.org. Alternatively, applicants may register in person at the Yevlakh service office of the State Employment Agency.
