The closing ceremony of the International Ceramics Symposium "From Nature to History" which was held at Sheki "ABAD" Ceramics and Applied Art Center, took place.

Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Head of Sheki City Executive Authority Elkhan Usubov, Chairman of State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev, director of ABAD PLE Rufat Elchiyev, Curator of the Sheki "ABAD" Ceramics and Applied Art Center Mir Teymur Mammadov and Turkish participant of the Symposium, ceramist Serap Unal spoke at the event.

Following the official part, 25 participants from 15 countries were awarded certificates.

In the end, the "Burning Sculpture" ceramic show was presented.

The purpose of the International Symposium which held on May 20 - June 2  by the initiative of ABAD  PLE was an exchange of experiences and knowledge between ceramists of different countries, to familiarize participants and visitors with modern trends in ceramic art, as well as, Azerbaijani culture.
