Digital
3D printing is a revolution of the new era. 3D printing keeps changing the game,
as it is capable of creating car parts and even human organs. This method has
already been proven in the field of souvenir production.
ABAD
member Adil Safarov also has the ability to work in this format and printer:
"I
have been interested in the 3D format for over a year already. I was making 3D
maps on the World Wide Web. Inspired by this work, I also prepared a 3D format
map for my native Azerbaijan. Later, I refined my idea further and turned this
map out of the printer into a desktop accessory.”
Thus,
an interesting souvenir came out. Initially, A. Safarov sold his products
online. After learning about ABAD, he addressed ABAD considering that his
products would reach a wider audience:
"During
the interview, I was asked to prove that the souvenir I presented was handmade.
Of course, the 3D form comes out of the printer, but painting it with epoxy
resin, and preparing the pedestal is pure manual work. Thereby, I became an
ABAD beneficiary. I feel happy with my sales and the services of ABAD."
Note
that you can get Adil Safarov's desk organizers with a 3D map of Azerbaijan on
epoxy and wooden materials at all ABAD ethno-boutiques.
