"ABAD" beneficiary: Rauf Seyidzadeh | Region: Baku | Wood carving

Residing in Baku, Rauf Seyidzadeh is one of the wood carving craftsmen operating as ABAD member. Besides specializing as a radio technician, he has been representing our country at many local and international exhibitions. However, he has been making his living through carving craft.

"I have been working in the field of art intermittently for 26 years now. I also deliver training to youth. Souvenir forms of national musical instruments are most in-demand among my handicrafts,"- he notes.

He has been offered to be an ABAD artisan at one of the exhibitions, and he notes that the becoming ABAD member made his working life more comfortable.

"Before ABAD, I was searching for the sales point by myself and found ones were not regularly. Hopefully, now there is ABAD. The only thing that concerns me is how to expand the scope of my activities and reach the international market. I hope we will nail it together with ABAD," - he remarks.
