Aysel Jumshudlu

Aysel Jumshudlu, a young artisan from Baku and a member of the ABAD family, has been drawn to the art of painting since childhood, inspired by her mother’s work in the field. Over the years, she has enriched her skills and knowledge, deciding to carry forward her mother’s artistic legacy.

Initially focusing on drawing cartoon characters and various patterns, Aysel later pursued education in diverse crafts, including ceramics, tapestry, carpet weaving, and artistic glasswork. She particularly favors artistic glasswork, where she excels.

Aysel creates intricate designs and patterns on glass using special paints, which are then fired in a kiln. During this process, the colors fuse into the glass, creating a unique and captivating beauty. Her works span various compositions, reflecting her versatility and creativity.

During her student years, Aysel participated in numerous exhibitions, earning recognition for her achievements. Upon learning about ABAD’s initiatives, she approached the public legal entity to collaborate. Today, Aysel Jumshudlu’s diverse handcrafted glassworks are showcased and available for purchase at ABAD craftsmanship centers
