Siazan

Siyazan is located on the southeastern slopes of the Greater Caucasus, and the center of the district is Siyazan which is located in the north of Baku. Baku-Rostov highway and railway pass through the district. Siyazan borders with Shabran from West and North-West, Khizi from the southeast, and the Caspian Sea from the east. The climate is mild, warm and dry subtropical. Gil-gilchay and Atachay rivers flowing through the region belong to the Caspian Sea basin. The lands are mainly gray-brown soils.
