Afat Mirzayeva, a young artisan from Sumgait supported by ABAD, chose to pursue a career in graphic artistry despite family suggestions to become a doctor. Trusting her innate talent, she furthered her skills by studying design, focusing on graphic painting during her education.

Intrigued by the possibilities of graphic art, Afat delved deeply into this field, eventually exploring a new direction in abstract painting, specifically stylized animal forms. She continues to create abstract compositions on canvas and paper using various oil paints, showcasing her innovative approach.

Afat joined the ABAD project with the primary goal of increasing the sales of her handcrafted works and expanding her range with new designs. She highly values ABAD’s support, which has been instrumental in growing her business.
