"ABAD" beneficiary: Bazarov Muhammad | Region: Balakan | Preserves
The head of the family, Muhammad Bazarov, studied Agronomics at the University of Agriculture and has been engaged in fruiting for more than 10 years.
He has developed an intensive gardening system for 5 years now and grows trees, such as apples, pears, cherries, plums and date palms.
He remarks:
“When I completed my education, I decided to work together with my family in the field of farming. It was necessary to use the modern technologies attentively and properly to create a fertile field. We began applying cutting-edge technologies in our farm, we made our utmost and in conclusion, we gathered an abundance of product from our orchards. Today we can harvest about 45-50 tons of apples from the one-hectare field”.
The Bazarovs Family traditionally sells a part of the harvested product as raw material, while the other part of the product is used to prepare homemade preserves and jams.
Since the products were produced amateurishly, there were problems like organizing certification and selling, as well as generating the family brands.
As ABAD started operating in Balakan as a second pilot region, the Bazarov's family addressed to the Public Legal Entity and their appliance was assessed positively.
The family was rendered with the necessary production equipment developed within the framework of cooperation between ABAD and the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The provided equipment allows producing products that meet all standards and distinguished with their high quality.
Presently, the family members are trained in the use of equipment by ABAD employees. “ABAD” also works on the organization of the sales of their products.
The Family’s all natural, high-quality jams and preserves are presented under the “Balmakan” brand in all ABAD exhibition and sales centers and Bravo Supermarket Chain.
The head of the family says:
“I am sure that our products will soon be welcomed and appreciated by customers since they are the outcome of our family’s labor”.
