"ABAD" beneficiary: Tarlan Sadigov | Region: Lankaran | Pottery and ceramics
He has committed himself to ceramic art for 20 years, previously, he painted:
“After graduating from Baku Painting School named after Azim Azimzade, I applied to the Academy of Fine Arts. While I was studying there, my master had pointed me towards ceramics art. From that time, it has already been 20 years, I am doing ceramics.”
He says that he prefers working on many styles than working with the single style:
"For instance, I revive any of the regions of Azerbaijan in my imagination then I visualize them on my crafts. The souvenirs, panel paintings, and glasses are included this list. My handicrafts had been displayed in exhibitions and welcomed with great interest.”
Speaking about the difference between pottery and ceramics, he notes that pottery is the cornerstone of ceramic art:
“İn pottery you make the specific household utensils, unlike ceramics art. The decorative items are made in ceramics art and an individual’s imagination plays a big role here. “
Speaking about his ABAD application, he notes that he intends to enhance his business and become a well-known artist through the support of ABAD.
“I want this field of art that I represent to be more famed. I have made handicrafts based on the orders up to now. Now I want to reach a wider audience with my products through the support of ABAD.”- he remarks.
