ABAD public legal entity participated in the Spring Street Festival of Handicrafts and Contemporary ART Week (July 20-24, 2022) in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
This unique project was implemented in partnership with the AHK Azerbaijan and Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) as part of the "EU4Business: Connecting Companies" initiative, which aims to contribute to the development of bilateral and multilateral partnerships in the creative industries from the rural areas in the fields of handicrafts, design & fashion, visual & performing arts, by providing the SMEs with an opportunity to showcase their businesses to the EU and Azerbaijani counterparts and institutions.
ABAD was represented by Laman Ahmadova, head of the Department of Decorative-Applied Folk Arts at the festival. ABAD products were presented to the locals and guests at a special stand. ABAD and its activities were introduced to representatives of foreign institutions participating in the exhibition, and possible cooperation prospects were discussed.
Within the course of the festival, ABAD products were welcomed by the great interest of the local population and company representatives participating in the exhibition. As a continuation of the exhibition, the 1st Azerbaijan "CultRural" festival is expected to be held on August 6, 2022, and the delegation of the festival will visit Azerbaijan and its rural areas.
