On September 8, 2022, the ceremonial signing of the agreement on cooperation between the ABAD public legal entity run by the State Agency for Public Service to and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and "PMD Hospitality" LLC, which is engaged in the management of hotels functioning in the health and recreation segments in Azerbaijan, took place. The agreement includes joint activities in the direction of providing support to the family households, and micro, small and medium entrepreneurship development projects.

Chairman of the State Agency Mr. Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of "PMD Hospitality" LLC  Mr. Samir Gurbanov, Director of ABAD public legal entity Mr. Rufat Elchiyev, and other guests attended the ceremony.

Ulvi Mehdiyev spoke about large-scale socio-economic reforms aimed at the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship in our country in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev. It was pointed out that ABAD, which was founded with the aim of strengthening this development and improving it based on innovative approaches, has become an alternative tool for the implementation of corporate social initiatives of large companies and donor organizations.

Samir Gurbanov emphasized that the company is ready to show the wide hospitality of the hotels under the management of "PMD Hospitality" and to support ABAD producers and present their different products in their hotels.

The parties expressed their confidence that the Agreement will play an important role in the expansion of cooperation between the two institutions and the implementation of active exchange of experience.

According to the agreement, priority will be given to meeting the supply needs of facilities belonging to "PMD Hospitality" with products produced by ABAD manufacturers. In order to expand the supply of products produced by local, environmentally friendly family farms, support will be provided to the formation of ABAD producers in the vicinity of the areas where the said facilities are located.

The hotels included in the portfolio of "PMD Hospitality" will use souvenirs made by ABAD artists, including household items and decor products. ABAD’s ethno-boutiques will also operate in those hotels so that guests can get to know and purchase ABAD products.
