The event dedicated to the
seventh anniversary of the “ABAD” public legal entity took place on September
23, 2023. The event was held at “ABAD” Factory in Guba which in turn marks its
5th anniversary.
Chairman of the State Agency
for Public Service and Social İnnovations, Mr. Ulvi Mehdiyev, Head of Guba
District Executive Power Mr. Ilgar Mahmudov and director of the “ABAD” public
legal entity Mr. Rufat Elchiyev attended the event.
The event launched with the
National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then, the dear memory of the ingenious
leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The socio-economic policy
founded by National leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by
President Ilham Aliyev, the support provided for regional development, and micro,
small, and medium entrepreneurship were discussed at the event. At the same
time, it was brought to attention that people living in different regions of
our country have been supported by ABAD for 7 years already and thousands of
handicrafts, food, and other types of products produced by them have been offered
for sale.
It was emphasized that 15 ABAD
families benefited from Guba "ABAD Factory", which was reconstructed with
the support of PASHA Holding and started to function on October 11, 2018, with
the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva,
and 83 types of products produced by them were offered for sale.
At the final stage of the event, the chocolate production area was put into operation officially.
“ABAD” public legal entity was
established following the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated September 23,
2016, under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under
the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. "ABAD" supports the
active participation of citizens in the socio-economic development of the country,
the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship, increasing the
employment level of the population and the formation of competitive family
farms.
To date, 579 families
have been supported through "ABAD" centers. 443 of them are operating
in the field of crafts, 118 are in food production and 18 are in other directions.
The average monthly income of "ABAD" members varies between
500-1000 AZN.
