
A special event was
held to mark the eighth anniversary of the establishment of the
"ABAD" public legal entity (Facilitated Support
to Family Businesses) operating under the State Agency for Public Service and
Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the
State Agency, Ulvi Mehdiyev, congratulated the organization’s staff and wished
them success in their future endeavours. The director of "ABAD,"
Rufat Elchiyev, presented a video highlighting the organization's achievements
and activities through the years.
The presentation
outlined that over the years, "ABAD" has operated through five
regional centres in Masally, Balakan, Guba, Sheki, and Tovuz, nine
ethno-boutiques, two ceramics and applied arts centres, three "ABAD"
stands in hypermarkets, and 25 sales outlets, as well as production complexes
in Guba.
Launched as a pilot
project with seven farming families in Masally, "ABAD" has since
supported 632 families. Among these, 481 are artisans, 129 work in food
production, and 22 are engaged in other service sectors. Through
"ABAD," thousands of handicraft, agricultural, and other diverse
products created by its members have been successfully brought to market.
The event concluded
with the recognition and awarding of outstanding employees for their exemplary
service.
