Within the framework of cooperation between the “ABAD” public legal entity and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), a new milestone was achieved at the Nardaran “ABAD” Ceramics and Applied Arts Center. On December 4, 2024, during a meeting, TİKA provided "ABAD" with a special vehicle for transporting products.
The event was attended by the director of
“ABAD,” Rufat Elchiyev, the head of TİKA, Serkan Kayalar, the head of TİKA's
Central Asia and Caucasus Department, Ali Özgün Öztürk, and TİKA's Baku Program
Coordinator, Hayrettin Özçelik.
The significance of TİKA's support for social
projects was highlighted during the meeting, and the existing cooperation
between the two organisations was discussed. Rufat Elchiyev expressed his gratitude
for TİKA's support and emphasized his hope that the partnership would continue
in the future. Serkan Kayalar, in turn, praised "ABAD's" activities
and the results achieved within the framework of their collaboration.
It should be noted that "ABAD" and
TİKA have had close cooperation since 2017. As part of this partnership, the
"ABAD" Ethno-boutique in Icherisheher was renovated with TİKA's
support, and the Nardaran “ABAD” Ceramics and Applied Arts Center was equipped
with essential materials and equipment. The provision of this new transport
vehicle is yet another example of this successful collaboration.
