On
December 3, 2024, the director of the “ABAD” public legal entity, Rufat Elchiyev,
met with residents of Aghali village in Zangilan District.
During the
meeting, held at the Aghali village Secondary School, a presentation on
“ABAD’s” activities was delivered to participants interested in
entrepreneurship. Detailed information was shared about ongoing projects and
efforts to support family businesses. Additionally, attendees were briefed on
the broad opportunities provided by the government for business development in
the liberated territories, including tax exemptions and other support
mechanisms.
The
primary goal of the event was to encourage former internally displaced persons
resettled in the liberated territories to join “ABAD” and to support the
development of their businesses through “ABAD's” initiatives.
At the
end of the presentation, questions from residents regarding “ABAD’s” operations
were addressed. These questions mainly focused on support mechanisms for family
businesses, opportunities for financial and technical assistance, and the
process of joining the projects. “ABAD” representatives clarified the issues of
interest to the residents.
Registration
was conducted during the event to initiate the necessary processes for
residents wishing to become “ABAD” members as soon as possible.
Representatives
from the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan Districts, along with officials from the
Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Labor and
Social Protection of the Population, and the State Tourism Agency, also
participated in the meeting.
